A psychiatrist is a specialist medical doctor who assesses and treats patients with mental health problems.  They undergo many years of training to provide this service. They often work with your general practitioner and other health professionals to provide care.

The best way to enquire about an appointment is by email. Appointments are typically 50 minutes in length.

Your privacy and safety are important, and care is taken to ensure you feel comfortable to discuss your problems freely. The information you discuss in session is confidential, aside from situations in which your safety or the safety of others is at risk.

Fees are set according to the type and duration of consultation. Please contact the practice for information about the current fee schedule. The practice does not bulk bill.

A Medicare rebate is available for eligible patients which will cover part of the cost of the service. In order to access this you will require a written referral from your GP or other specialist doctor. For patients who need to see a doctor or get tests done frequently, the Medicare Safety Net can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

For cancellations within less than 48 business hours of an appointment, a cancellation fee equal to the consultation fee will apply.
